AERIAL APPLICATION
Our specialist fleet of Fixed Wing agricultural aircraft offer precision aerial application using the latest GPS Guidance Systems and Intelliflow Flow Control Units. We service a variety of crops including bananas, avocados, corn, sugarcane, sorghum, potatoes, peanuts, grasses, pastures and cotton with the following products:
- Spraying - Herbicides, Insecticides, Fungicides, Liquid Fertilisers, Growth Regulators and Frost Protection products.
- Spreading - Granular fertilisers including Urea, Potassium Nitrate and Calcium.
- Seeding - Coated and uncoated seed.
- Baiting - Granular Mouse Baiting.
OUR HISTORY
Atherton Tableland Air Service is a family owned company that has been established on the Atherton Tablelands for 47 years. Our head office is located at the Atherton Aerodrome and a purpose built facility was developed at the Mareeba Airport Aviation Industrial Park in 2020. Our fully equipped mobile mixing units enable us to travel and work across all areas of North Queensland.
Hamish Jacob, Chief Pilot and Head of Aircraft Maintenance is both a Commercial Pilot and Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with 18 years agriculture flying experience in the Far North.
Rebecca Jacob, Director and Administration Officer oversees all quality assurance, accreditations and licensing requirements and manages the businesses administration.
Hamish and Rebecca are supported by a team of professionally trained pilots, engineers, ground crew and maintenance control staff.
